The CF520 Thermal Dispersion Flow Transmitter is ideal for monitoring the flow of liquids. It provides a 4…20mA analog signal and a relay (SPDT) switch output. This technology is generally ideal when the user needs the approximate flow rate but does not want to invest in the more expensive flow meter technology. All models enable the user the ability to easily adjust the “Zero” and “Span” of the flow range so that the 4~20mA analog output signal matches the process flow velocity. The SPDT output is compared to the adjustment value (set-point) selected by the user, signaling and indicating when this value is reached. An 8 LED Bargraph provides the user with a visual flow indication as well as the status of the Set-point and a central bi-chromatic LED that indicates when the Set-point has been reached.

Engineered for seamless integration into automation systems, the CF520 offers a 4…20 mA analog output and na SPDT relay output, enabling both continuous monitoring and control functions. Field parameterization allows the device to be easily configured for different media—such as water, oil, or gas—ensuring optimal performance under real operating conditions. Highly versatile, the instrument can be manufactured with a wide range of process connections, including threaded, flanged, or sanitary types, as well as custom insertion lengths to match specific pipe diameters.

All models feature a glass viewing window for switch-status indication and are supplied with certifications for installation in hazardous areas, ensuring safe operation in demanding industrial environments.
