Daniel Wedge Meter is a rugged primary flow element engineered to deliver accurate, repeatable differential pressure (DP) flow measurement across challenging oil & gas, custody transfer, terminal and industrial process applications where fluids contain solids, slurries, entrained gases or corrosive media.
Featuring a precision-machined V-shaped restriction, Wedge Meters generate a stable differential pressure signal with ±0.5 % calibrated accuracy and ±0.2 % repeatability and are designed with no moving parts, reducing maintenance and extending service life.
Available in line sizes from 2″ to 24″ (larger custom sizes on request) with multiple end configurations (flanged, wafer, bevelled, threaded) and constructed from stainless steel, carbon steel and other alloys, they stand up to high pressure ANSI 150-2500 service and extreme temperatures.
The V-wedge geometry allows solids, sludge and abrasive particles to pass through without clogging, making these wedge meters ideal for viscous liquids, slurries, gas flow and dirty process streams where conventional DP elements struggle supporting reliable flow monitoring, custody transfer measurement and process control across the industrial landscape.
