Process Instrument Solutions holds AGM at Ipswich Town FC
The Process Instrument Solutions Annual Group Meeting was held this month at Ipswich Town Football Club, with key speaker Jim Harris, former Director at Siemens, presenting to the team.
The day long event invited each Head of Department to present to the whole company, reviewing the past year and celebrating achievements and discussing challenges. It was also an opportunity to look at the year ahead and the company’s key focus’ for 2023.
Jon Tayler, Director of Process Instrument Solutions, said: “This year’s AGM was an opportunity to review a successful year in which we have grown and evolved and take a look at our vision and aspirations for the coming year. It was a proud day for me and one we all felt was positive and motivating.”
Project Update
Our Service team recently completed a Factory Acceptance Test with a customer for a Siemens multi-gas extractive Ultramat 23 gas analyser project for carbon capture. Whilst on site we provided a complete panel for the gas handling system.
The Acceptance Test was successful and commissioning should commence in early February 2023.

Product Showcase
The Labom REconnect fast coupling device is a groundbreaking coupling device for simple and safe decoupling and recoupling of diaphragm seal systems (process connection and measuring device).
The new fast coupling device is installed between the measuring device and the process connection and in particular facilitates handling when measuring systems are mounted with a capillary, such as on vessels with large heights, when there is restricted space or in plants that are difficult to access. Operated by a coupling bracket, it makes safe and leakage-free decoupling of diaphragm seal systems possible without affecting oil volumes and without loss of oil or intake of air.
Highlights of the Labom REconnect fast coupling device include:
- Safe and leakage-free separation and connection of diaphragm seal systems, repeatable many times
- No loss or shifting of filling oil volume or entry of air
- Replacement or calibration of measuring instruments without opening the process
- Autoclavable
- Silicone-free
- Vacuum-proof
- Operable through removable connecting bracket
- Plant can immediately be put back into operation
- Can be combined with a wide range of Labom measuring devices and diaphragm seals
