Welcome to another Year in Business with Process Instrument Solutions
Welcome to the first newsletter from Process Instrument Solutions of the year.
Hear from Jon Tayler, the Process Instrument Solutions Director, as he takes a look at what the business has in store this year.
Project Update
Our Service team recently completed a flowmeter project for a UK facility. Installing the Siemens SITRANS FC330 Coriolis flowmeter, calibrations were completed in four days. The project also included removal from site with which our team transported supplies to a UKAS calibration facility in the north of England. The team waited for the work to be completed and returned the next day and reinstalled within a mini plant shut-down.

Team Update
We’re delighted to announce that our Marketing Assistant, Jess Flight, gave birth to her baby boy, Reuben, in October and Amy Jarvis, our Office Administrator, gave birth to her baby boy, Morgan, in December.

Both Jess and Amy are doing really well, and Reuben and Morgan are enjoying lots of cuddles. I am sure you’ll join us in wishing the ladies all the best as they enjoy their maternity leave.

Product Showcase
The Leibherr Sensor P45-GD is a self-sufficient measuring device for precise water content/moisture determination in the running process guarantees the highest quality and safety in EX-protected production environments, the further processing and refinement of very many emulsions and bulk materials.
The PC software enables fast and accurate calibration of the measured sections.
Liebherr offers sensors for the following device protection categories:
- Gas EX-protection:
- II 1/2 G Ex ia IIC T6 Ga
- Dust EX-protection:
- II 1/2 D Ex ia IIIC T85 °C Da
- The sensors are installed directly in pipes or in tanks.
- The sensors are used, for example, in oils, crude oils, paints, lacquers, ethanol, solvents as well as in bulk materials under explosive conditions.

This month we’re taking a look at one of our case studies where we installed the Siemen’s SITRANS LR560 radar transmitter for Carr’s Flour, which is one of the most established mills and has three sites across the UK.
This case study refers to its Maldon mill in Essex. The mill partnered up with our expert team at Process Instrument Solutions and Siemens and installed SITRANS LR560 radar transmitter for solids level measurement on top of all 26 silos in the mill.
